General Information
The Nance Fruit Tree, native to Central and South America, grows from southern Mexico to Peru and Brazil, particularly along the Pacific coast. The fruit ripens in clusters on large shrubs, turning from green to yellow-red. Nance fruits have a unique, cheese-like taste with hints of banana, lychee, and pear. Each fruit contains 1–3 small, inedible seeds within an oily white pulp.
