Native to Brazil, the exotic fruit tree known as the Brazilian Grape Tree (Plinia Cauliflora) thrives in areas like Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Goias, and Sao Paulo. With full sunlight and the right care, the “Sabara” cultivar bears fruit in as little as 5–6 years, making it especially prized for its early onset. “Sabara” produces several flowers and fruits each year, in contrast to other Jaboticaba types that could take up to ten years to develop fruit.
Taste
Tropical fruit lovers will love the tree’s sweet, juicy flesh, which is produced in clusters of glossy black fruits right on its woody stems.
Cultivation
