General Information

The evergreen shrub known as the Kak Jam Fruit has clusters of white to yellow-white blossoms. The fruit ripens from crimson to purple and black, tasting acidic and harsh. As big as a pea, it looks like a globose berry with a cup-shaped limb. Ripe fruit is black or purple. Large shrubs can become tiny trees with clusters of ovoid fruit.
